How it works:

The sensor sends out microwave pulses and measures the reflection off of moving objects. Similar to a police radar gun. Sensing is only possible within the detection area. This detection area is user adjustable with the sensor's potentiometer. If an object is detected moving within the set area, the sensor changes its output state which is shown when the blue LED lights up.
